About Adventure Camp

Director: KidsRock
Session 1: Monday, June 8 – Friday, June 12
Session 2: Monday, August 17 – Friday, August 21
Hours: 8:00am – 4:45pm – Check in is from 8am – 9am with busses leaving The St. Paul’s Schools campus by 9:15am.  Adventures will be back on campus by 4:00pm with pickup being between 4pm – 4:45pm.   
Cost: $450 per week 

“Think Action Packed Trips Each Day” 

Adventure Camp is designed for campers entering Pre-K through 8th grade. Adventure Camp immerses kids in a week of action-packed trips and adventures. From scaling an indoor rock climbing wall to zipping down water slides at water parks, each day campers are pumped-up and excited. Campers travel in an luxury coach bus equipped with on-board restroom, individual reclining seat belt equip seats, air conditioning, movies and tablets to maximize comfort, fun and safety.

Why Adventure Camp?

Adventure Camp offers your child from pre-k – 8th grade a place to explore interests, develop friendships, and  embark on daily age-appropriate excursion from scuba diving, Orioles Stadium tours, zip-lining, museum visits and  more in a luxury coach bus.   Campers travel in a luxury coach bus equipped with everything to keep your child comfortable and safe on each trip.  We partner with Academy Bus to offer a relaxing travel experience complete with a certified Academy Bus Chauffeur,  individual reclining seats, on-board restroom, air–conditioning and movies to maximize comfort, fun, and safety.   

Depending on the age of your child, we will split groups into Adventure Camp Juniors and Adventure Camp Seniors.  Each day, the campers will have a new adventure ranging from visiting the amazing animals at the Washington D.C. Zoo to navigating  the narrows kayaking in Middle River, MD or SCUBA diving. Wherever we go, we promise a fun-filled and exciting  expedition.  Each morning, weather permitting, we offer outdoor recreational games and activities before we depart for our trip.

Camper Supervision

Campers are grouped with their peers based on grade, which will allow your child to develop socially and build friendships. Groups are small and do not exceed 15 campers. Our staff to camper ratio is 1:10 or better.



  • 1:10 staff to camper ratio 
  • Daily field trips are included in the cost of camp
  • Campers will ride in a luxury coach bus, equipped with restrooms, reclining seats, seat belts, and movies 
  • Afternoon snacks will be provided

  • Monday  June 8th: ​Six Flags in Upper Marlboro, MD 
  • Tuesday June 9th: ​Orioles Stadium Tour and Dave & Busters in Baltimore, MD
  • Wednesday June 10th: ​Explore the Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.
  • Thursday June 11th: ​Learn to Scuba Dive in Gaithersburg, MD *Dives will take place in a pool
  • Friday June 12th: ​Bowling, Laser tag and Arcade at Main Event in Columbia, MD


August Session

  • Friday August 21st: ​Zipline and ropes course at Sandy Spring Adventure in Sandy Spring, MD

Before the Trip

  • Campers wear a KidsRock camp shirt (easy identification).  
  • Campers wear a KidsRock color-coded identification wristband.
  • Staff record attendance prior to the beginning of each trip.
  • Staff review safety rules and trip agenda. 

During the Trip

  • Group Trip or Station Trip Procedures
  • Group Trips: Campers navigate the trip as a group with their counselor.
  • Station Trips: Counselor are stationed in designated play zones that children can explore and play in.
  • Staff review safety rules and trip agenda.
  • Staff record attendance during the trip.

Water Safety

On all water related field trips KidsRock staff follows the KidsRock Watcher on Duty System (WOD).

  • Counselors are stationed both inside and outside of the water.
  • Counselors create a perimeter around our campers to ensure safe swimming.
  • KidsRock only attends lifeguard equipped pools and water parks.
  • Campers (pre-k through 1st grade) swim in shallow areas of the water.
  • Campers (2nd-3rd) swim in 3.5 feet of water.
  • Campers (4-5th) swim in 3.5 feet of water.
  • Campers must take and pass a swim test to swim anywhere in the pool with a KidsRock staff.


For our adventure camps, KidsRock staff will meet you and your camper(s) in a designated parking lot with a drop off location to meet our busses. We will take attendance as students board the bus for accountability that day and at our field trip locations. Drop off runs from 8:00am – 9:00am. Bus leaves promptly at 9:15am. Campers typically return around 4:15pm. Pickup is from 4:15pm – 4:45pm. When you register, there is no need to register for any additional before or aftercare.  Your cost includes 8:00am – 4:45pm, whether you need it or not.  We do not provide any additional before or after care beyond those timeframes.

After you register online for adventure camp, please visit the KidsRock website to finalize your registration. 

  • Visit ​​ and click on Enroll.
  • Complete KidsRock’s online registration process and select desired Adventure Camp Week(s).
  • At the end of registration process, click on "Financial Assistance" and select payment method "St Paul School Registration."
  • Submit online application. 

Please note, your camper is NOT officially registered for camp until you follow the redemption instructions above.
