We have made the difficult decision to cancel all onsite K–12 summer camp programming this year.
The health and safety of our campers, parents, and staff is paramount. Even with the governor's decision to allow day camps to run this summer, we do not believe we can adequately plan for and serve students this summer while simultaneously putting in place all the plans necessary to reopen school this fall. All canceled camps will be refunded per our revised policy.
Separate communication was sent to preschool families regarding your summer camp offerings, which are subject to a different set of guidelines as childcare centers. If you did not receive that information regarding preschool reopening dates and procedures, please contact Isabel Nussbaumer (firstname.lastname@example.org).
If you enrolled in summer dance programming through TDC, please look for follow-up communication from us, as we are working on a virtual summer dance offering. In addition, we will communicate to St. Paul's families in the next few weeks about some virtual academic programs our teachers are designing for summer.
Over the summer, we will reach out to those families who have registered or are eligible to register for St. Paul's School for Boys Middle School Jump Start, St. Paul's School for Girls Middle School Warmup Week, and St. Paul's School for Girls Upper School Transition Week. We are working to organize both on-campus and virtual options for these orientation programs. Our College Counseling offices similarly are preparing to offer SP College Boot Camp and SPSG College Application "Wordshop" either in person or online, depending on conditions in August.
We know you share our disappointment about the cancellation of in-person camps. We understand the important role summer camps play in the lives of all children who participate, and we wanted to provide ample time for you to make alternative plans for your children this summer.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please direct any questions to email@example.com or 443-632-1083.
