As a member of the Class of 2009, Hayward earned 10 varsity letters and was the recipient of the C. Markland Kelly Award. After a year at the University of Florida, Hayward went on to attend Gettysburg College where she received her undergraduate degree in Political Science in 2013. She was a member of both the Women’s Field Hockey team and Women’s Lacrosse team, which won an NCAA National Championship in 2010. Upon graduation, Hayward began her career in the Baltimore Ravens Ticket Office and has been in her current role, Suite Sales & Services Coordinator, since 2015. Hayward and her husband George live in Federal Hill.
Ebony Harley ’05, Vice President
Ebony graduated from Davidson College in 2009 with a BA in Economics. After spending four years pursuing her interests in project management at Bank of America, Ebony switched gears and spent one year as a grassroots organizer for the Baltimore non-profit Advocates for Children and Youth. These experiences led her to pursue a dual-masters at the University of Maryland, and, in 2017, she graduated with both an MBA and an MSW (Master of Social Work). Ebony is currently a project manager at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. She lives in Parkville and enjoys listening to Beyoncé and volunteering in her free time. Ebony has been an active volunteer with SPSG, serving as a Social Media Ambassador, Gator Day Ambassador, and Swamp Soiree Auction Committee member.
After graduating from SPSG in 2000, Maggie attended Cabrini College to pursue an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education. In 2004, Maggie returned to Baltimore to teach kindergarten and to begin her masters degree program in Special Education at Notre Dame of Maryland University. The following year, she began working at Connections Education in their enrollment department and now serves as the Director of Academic Placement for Pearson Online and Blended Learning. Maggie lives in Timonium with her husband, Brad, and son, Charlie.
The 2016-2017 school year was Emily’s last at Calvert. She is now working part time at Liza Byrd Boutique in Kenilworth and subbing at a few local area private schools, including SPSG. She has three sons, one is a current student at St. Paul’s School, Jack, SPS ’23, and two who graduated from St. Paul’s School, Matthew, SP ’18 and Christopher, SPS ’16.
Laura Scornavacca Schuebel ’91, Alumnae Association/Parents’ Association Liaison
Laura graduated from Lynchburg College in 1995 with a BA in Early Childhood Education. After graduation, she returned to Baltimore where she began working at St. Paul’s Plus before taking a position at a start-up Internet company. Laura and her husband, Scott, a graduate of St. Paul’s School ’89, live in Baltimore with their two daughters Brynn ’19 and Grier ’22.
Emma Brooks ’11, Events Chair
Emma graduated from Clemson University in 2015 with her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. Currently, she works in the Ecotoxicology Lab at EA Engineering where they run a variety of tests to determine the toxicity of water and sediment samples. She loves to do anything that involves being creative and is very excited to channel this into her role as Events Chair. Additionally, she is a huge Clemson Tigers football fan, she loves to paint, bake, play the piano, and be outside. Emma comes from a big family of Gators and Crusaders: sister Elly is an SPSG alumna of the Class of 2016 while brothers Sam and Ian are SPS alumni. Emma proved herself as an exceptional volunteer, serving as her Green & White Weekend Five-Year-Reunion Chair, a Social Media Ambassador, and a Gator Day Ambassador, as well as coordinating Alumnae Association events.
Tori Weitzel ’05, Past President
Tori earned her undergraduate degree in Business Management at Washington College in 2009 and her Masters in Business Administration from University of Baltimore in 2014. Through assistance from the Alumnae Office in 2011, she began working for Connections Education and now serves as Director of Research and Customer Experience for Pearson Online & Blended Learning. She has been on the SPSG Alumnae Board since 2011. Tori is also a fitness enthusiast and enjoys both teaching and participating in Crossfit.
