As cold weather approaches, we would like to share an update on how school cancellations and delays will be communicated.
In the event of inclement weather, The St. Paul's Schools will strive to make a delay or closing decision by 5:30 a.m. This will assist families who travel a distance to school and need to leave home early. As such, our decisions may be different from other area schools'.
Please be aware that even on days when school is open, you may determine that conditions are too hazardous for your child to arrive on time or at all. In such situations, she may stay home without incurring any disciplinary or academic ramifications. In these instances, we encourage SPSG and SP students to use the LMS to be in touch with their teachers. All schools on our campus will follow the same closures and delays. Two-Hour Delay St. Paul's School for Girls Drop-off: 9:30 a.m. Advisory: 9:50 a.m. Classes begin: 10:00 a.m.
*If we are delayed due to weather on a Thursday, these same start times apply. Our maintenance and facilities staff will work to ensure a safe environment for our students, despite weather conditions. As a reminder, for the safety of our students and community members, sledding on campus is strictly prohibited.
The St. Paul's Schools will continue to share weather-related announcements through our websites, email, social media channels, and local news media. To get weather updates via text message, you must be subscribed to the service. Click here for step-by-step instructions on how to subscribe to our text message alert system.
