Affording an SPSG Education
When you visit SPSG, you tour exceptional facilities, see small classes, and meet faculty members who teach girls the way girls learn best. You discover a challenging curriculum and leadership opportunities in a secure and caring environment. You hear about alumnae who are busy and productive women, strong women, many with distinguished careers.
You come away assured that your daughter, with the help of SPSG’s college counselors, will find just the right college or university to match her talent and abilities. Moreover, you realize that, at SPSG, your daughter will share in time-honored traditions that will live forever in her heart and help shape her life.
An SPSG education, like anything of great value, comes at a premium. Like many independent schools, SPSG relies on tuition to pay for its effective and rigorous program, one that is geared especially for girls. As the costs of running such a fine school escalate, so do the costs to attend.
At SPSG, business officers work diligently to find the best ways to make an SPSG education affordable. Financing is not always easy, but it may be possible. Parents who want an SPSG education for their daughters are urged to consider available financial options. While the school expects families to take primary responsibility for the cost of their daughter’s education, SPSG is committed to helping qualified and deserving girls.
For the 2011-2012 school year, the tuition is $22,950 for Upper School and $21,950 for Middle School. Tuition includes cost of textbooks. Families also pay for uniforms and an activity fee (field trips, extracurricular athletic programs, yearbook, and the school newspaper). Additionally, lunches may be purchased in the cafeteria or at the Gator Café.
