THIS MONTH, DR. GILLESPIE HAS TURNED HER SPACE OVER TO JIM STROMBERG, ATHLETIC DIRECTOR
A Spring Journey by Jim Stromberg, Athletic Director
This past Spring Break, I had the opportunity to participate in the community service trip to Grace House in southwest Virginia, with a group of girls from St. Paul’s School for Girls and St. Timothy’s School. Although the athletic arena has provided me with many cherished memories and lasting relationships at SPSG, my trip to Appalachia with 14 students and the Rev. Mary Walton, SPSG chaplain, affected me more then I could have anticipated. When Rev. Walton asked for chaperones, I signed on to be driver and cook.
