Welcome to the 2013 Gatorfest Lacrosse Tournament. Held on the beautiful Greenspring Valley campus of St. Paul’s School for Girls in Brooklandville, Maryland, the tournament promises a day of exciting games for talented lacrosse players. Coaches from some of the best lacrosse colleges in the region will be on hand to catch all the action.
The tournament is scheduled for June 28 & 29, 2013. All games will be played full field and will consist of two 20-minute halves. Pre-registration is necessary. Coaches must register online or contact Jim Stromberg via email, jstromberg@spsfg.org, or phone, 443.632.1036. Waivers from players will be collected on the day of play. The cost for this tournament is $900 per team. Clubs can also now register multiple teams at once.
In the middle school divisions, we will host a championship format. In age brackets 2017-2020, each team will play two pool play games, followed by double elimination format. Each team in the 2017-2020 bracket will be guaranteed at least 4 games (weather dependent) and there will be one team in each bracket that is named the winner.
The high school aged teams will continue to participate under our original format of three 50-minute games over the course of two days for recruiting purposes.
As always, should your club register four or more teams in our tournament, your 2015 team can participate at NO COST.
