Welcome
Dear Prospective Parents and Students,
Thank you for your interest in St. Paul’s School for Girls. We are a college preparatory day school encompassing grades five through twelve. For the 2007-2008 school year, 465 students will be enrolled.
Our goal at SPSG is to help our students grow from curious youngsters to confident young women well prepared for the challenges of the nation’s best colleges and universities. 100% of our graduates attend four-year colleges. As written in our diversity statement, "we welcome a diverse population and through our policies, curriculum, and programs seek to bridge cultural divisions and build appreciation for our nation’s rich multi-cultural heritage."
Our school offers a challenging academic program tailored to meet the learning styles of girls. Working in close cooperation with St. Paul’s School, teachers of some courses teach both boys and girls in the Upper School. We like to say we offer girls "the best of both worlds," single-sex education with coeducational opportunities.
We invite you to call the Admission Office to schedule a day for your daughter to visit SPSG to experience firsthand the excellence of our curriculum and the friendliness of our community. On that same day, you will have an opportunity to tour the school, meet with a member of our admission staff, and attend Prayers, our morning assembly. Our admission season at St. Paul’s School for Girls begins at the beginning of October.
These visits to St. Paul’s School for Girls by both you and your daughter are a requirement for all of our applicants. Please call the Admission Office, 443-632-1002, to make an appointment or to request additional information.
I look forward to meeting you in the near future!
Most sincerely,
Charlotte D. Douglas
Director of Admission
