Biography
Carla Guarraia teaches biology, chemistry, and genetics, and she mentors the SPSG Scholars. She has a B.S. from Loyola College in biology and chemistry. She holds a Ph.D. from UMBC in molecular and cellular biology. Dr. Guarraia loves the outdoors; she enjoys hiking, running, cycling, and disc golf. She is also fortunate to spend lots of time with her family, including her parents, husband, and three-year-old son. She also coaches varsity cross-country.
