Middle School

The Middle School educates girls through exploratory, integrated, and challenging programs designed to meet their intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, equipping them to become lifelong learners and contributing members of their communities.

The middle school years are often referred to as the wonder years, and it is that sense of wonder, exploration, and adventure that we at SPSG like to foster in our middle school. We have the advantage of having a long history of tradition that works well with a tried and true middle school philosophy.

Upper School

The Upper School promotes intellectual, creative, and spiritual development in a challenging and supportive environment that embraces diversity, celebrates service, fosters self-discovery, and encourages young women to gain independence as they prepare to enter the global community.

The Upper School at St. Paul's School for Girls offers opportunities for challenge and achievement in a variety of areas. Students attend classes, participate in athletics, engage in artistic endeavors, take part in the government of the school, attend social activities, complete community service, and assume a variety of leadership roles.

At SPSG, the curriculum is rigorous and tailored to the way girls learn best - in a collegial, collaborative atmosphere that encourages hands-on research, interdisciplinary studies, lively discussion, critical thinking, intellectual risk taking, and positive reinforcement.
